The Pan African Institute for Development – East and Southern Africa (PAID–ESA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Action de Partenariat pour le Développement Communautaire (APDC), a national community development organization based in Bangui, Central African Republic. This partnership seeks to promote inclusive community development, resilience, local governance, and climate adaptation through joint initiatives, research, and training.
The Pan African Institute for Development – East and Southern Africa (PAID–ESA) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Action de Partenariat pour le Développement Communautaire (APDC), a national organization based in Bangui, Central African Republic.
This agreement establishes a collaborative framework to promote inclusive community development, resilience, local governance, and climate adaptation. Both institutions will jointly design and implement high-impact initiatives focusing on:
Community empowerment and participatory governance
Disaster Risk Reduction
Climate adaptation and environmental peace building
Capacity building, training, and applied research
Policy dialogue and advocacy at regional and national levels
Through this partnership, PAID–ESA and APDC reaffirm their shared commitment to advancing sustainable development and social resilience in Central Africa, while strengthening cooperation between academic, technical, and community-based actors.
