
PAID–ESA convened a high-level strategic workshop titled “Renaissance and Quantum Leaps through Concertocracy” to align leadership, pedagogy, and institutional strategy for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The Pan African Institute for Development – East and Southern Africa (PAID–ESA) successfully organized a strategic internal workshop under the theme “Renaissance and Quantum Leaps through Concertocracy,” bringing together PAID leadership, academic staff, institutional partners, and invited stakeholders.
The workshop provided a structured platform for collective reflection on PAID–ESA’s pedagogic direction, operational coherence, and strategic positioning in preparation for the 2025–2026 academic year. Through guided dialogue and collaborative analysis, participants examined how concerted governance, shared responsibility, and institutional alignment can drive transformative academic and operational outcomes.
Discussions focused on strengthening PAID–ESA’s andragogical training model, enhancing program relevance, improving institutional coordination, and positioning PAID–ESA as a responsive, forward-looking development institute within an increasingly complex academic and policy environment. Emphasis was placed on innovation, coherence across departments, and the practical translation of PAID’s values into measurable institutional impact.
This workshop marks a critical step in PAID–ESA’s ongoing renewal process, reinforcing its commitment to concerted leadership, academic excellence, and strategic agility in advancing decent and sustainable development across Africa.
